Every uninsulated heating zone continuously releases heat into the surrounding area — the heater works against the hall, and personnel against the heat. Insulation jackets keep the heat on the component: fewer losses, shorter heat-up times, a noticeably better hall climate and protected surfaces in the operator area.
We manufacture in-house: every jacket is cut and sewn in Kronstorf — a high-temperature-resistant E-glass fabric on the inside, a binder-free needled E-glass mat with low thermal conductivity as the core, and a coated fabric on the outside that repels water, oil and dirt. A proven design — in any shape your component needs.

Mounting & safety
Proper mounting is a prerequisite for the function, service life and operational safety of your heating system.
!Insulate with good judgment
The jacket works best when it fits tightly and the fastener overlaps generously — open gaps let heat escape unused. Just as important is what remains free:
- Connections, sensors and fittings remain accessible via built-in cutouts.
- Zones with direct material discharge and deliberately cooled areas are not insulated.
After retrofitting, observe the temperature behavior of the zone: due to the lower losses, the control needs less power; in processes with high shear heat, the temperature level can shift. The repellent outer fabric can simply be wiped clean — the jacket remains reusable for years.

No. We manufacture insulation jackets from a quantity of one — every jacket is a custom fit for your exact component anyway. From a single extruder barrel to equipping an entire machine fleet, we handle every batch size on a made-to-order basis.
In most cases, your own measurements are sufficient: diameter or circumference, the length of the section to be insulated, and the position of connections and sensors. Photos and a simple hand sketch help us position cutouts correctly. For complex geometries, we clarify the approach directly with you.
Yes, that is part of the custom manufacturing. We incorporate cutouts for band-heater connections, temperature sensors, valves and fittings exactly where you need them — the jacket also seals the tensioning gap while remaining tool-free to remove.
That depends on the surface temperature, component size and the plant's operating hours — the hotter the uninsulated surface and the longer the operating times, the greater the effect. Uninsulated heating zones release a considerable share of their output unused into the surrounding air; the jacket reduces exactly these losses. We are happy to provide a concrete estimate for your application based on your operating data.

Very little: the jacket is wrapped around the component and closed with the generously overlapping hook-and-loop fastener — without tools, in just a few steps. For maintenance work, it can be removed just as quickly and reused afterwards.
Yes: it protects personnel from hot radiating surfaces, reduces heat release into the facility — which eases the load on air conditioning in summer — and additionally dampens noise. Especially in densely equipped production halls, contact protection and facility climate are often the real trigger for the purchase.
